Food and Cooking

When I was a boy, I cooked one or two dinners most weeks, as did my sister and brother. Here are some of my favourite things to cook, then (cakey pudding!) and now (hot curry):

Cakey pudding

Ginger Sweet Potato
Thai-style curries — I've tried to distill all the Red, Green and Yellow curry recipes I've been able to find into one unified set of instructions. They're all basically the same process; but each curry has different traditional ingredients — so, for example, Red Duck Curry will usually have Lychees (but some chefs substitute pineapple when Lychees are out of season); most Green curries will have baby aubergine, etc., etc.

Simple Ratatouille
Ginger-Habanero-Honey sauce Yum!
Fish stir-fried with Galingale
Cauliflower soup after tasting some at Elysium in Randwick.
Mangetout peas (snap peas, snow peas) with Pancetta

Wine

From time to time I'll add Tasting Notes for the various wines we have.
