Bread Sauce

1 Tblspn Cloves
1 Onion Spike with Cloves
300ml milk Put the clove-studded onion and the milk into a saucepan, and simmer, covered, gently for 15 minutes.
1 cup Breadcrumbs from the centre of a loafAdd breadcrumbs. Stir gently until the sauce is thick.
Allow to cool to slightly above room temperature before serving
Bread Sauce is one of the classic English sauces. Serve with roast Ham, Pork, Poultry or Game.
