300ml milk | Put the clove-studded onion and the milk into a saucepan, and simmer, covered, gently for 15 minutes. |
1 cup Breadcrumbs from the centre of a loaf | Add breadcrumbs. Stir gently until the sauce is thick. |
Allow to cool to slightly above room temperature before serving |
